Do you know if the cast is okay with porn of their characters? They tend to actively avoid the NSFW fanart people share on Twitter, so I mean.

I don't know one way or another, but as with any transformative works, NSFW content or kink memes, it is as always up to the cast/performers/authors of the canon work to decide whether or not they decide to go looking.

I don't imagine anyone's going to @ them on Twitter and say "hey, check this out!"

I just wanted to thank you for founding this kmeme. Founding is probably not the right word for it, but I couldn't think of a better one. Now that one brave anon has taken the plunge and written this meme's first fill, I predict others will start to follow suit.

What is this meme's ruling on posting non-anon for a fill? If I fill something or comment should I continue to do so on anon or is it at my own discretion?

De-anoning is entirely at the poster's discretion. Prompts, fills, and comments can all be posted off anon if desired. As always, caveat scriptor: be aware that if you post off anon it may come back to bite you on the ass!

Filled prompts post?

What about a post/some other form of archiving links to any filled prompts? I really want to read all the wonderful prompts being filled, but now both the standard and RPF posts have three pages of prompts, it's a little difficult to trawl through them for new content...

I know del.icio.us used to be used for this on other kinkmemes (though that's not an option any more), but really even a new post where people could comment links to their fills with ship names and warnings would be good!

Seconding this.

Since the fall of delicious, what I've seen on various kink memes is a separate post that authors are meant to comment on with a link to the filled prompt if they fill a prompt. That way people can check that post instead of scrolling through pages and pages for updates.

I don't feel like it's appropriate to post questions about things not concerning how the kinkmeme is run, but about fic advice/opinions, on this, nor anywhere else.
I've wanted a place to ask the kinkmeme frequenters general curiosity questions such as "Why do we all assume that [insert member of party/cast] would be submissive?" and the likes, and that is not a conversation I wish to have on tumblr or off anon in any way for that matter.
I do understand if you feel this is inappropriate for the kink meme as well! Curiosity gets the best of me sometimes...

I would assume campaign one (for now), but I haven't actually seen any prompts regarding those characters.

They would go in Other Projects, as they are not part of the main campaigns.

New prompts, old inspiration?

I've been rewatching some of the older q&as and panels that the cast did quite a while ago now, and I've been wanting to prompt based on certain quotes, for example, but I'm unsure where to do so.
If the prompt isn't tied to VM, but to the "era" of VM (being RPF) would it go on that post, or on the new one? The VM era posts are hardly active anymore, so prompting there feels a bit like letting it get lost in the ether...
It also feels a bit weird to tie RPF fic to VM/M9 and divide it that way, when not all inspiration is directly drawn from one or the other.

Post it to whichever you feel is appropriate. The separate posts are because even RPF prompts may contain spoilers for or respond directly to canon events.

sequels to fills (by same author)

Hello! I was wondering about the policy re: writing sequels to our own fills. Can we post those in the same thread as the first fic, like a continuation? Or should those go in the "unprompted" post, with a link to the original fill? (In my case, the sequel will still respond to the original prompt, so I'm leaning toward posting it in the same thread as the original fill, but I wanted to check in about what the official policy is, if any.)

No official policy. Same thread is fine, and if you're doing it because people are going "write moar plz" at you then it's probably the best way for them to find it!

Hello, is there a spoiler policy we should follow when making prompts inspired by the latest episode? Is there a wait period, or is there a way to block out text (I haven't used dw much before)?

We've never had a spoiler policy because people can and do think of prompts even during the episode. It's pretty much an expectation that you might run into something, especially given the multiple IPs we write across here.

On the topic of this recent repost, perhaps the rules ought to be explicit about the allowance (or not) of reposts. I'd always assumed them not to be allowed, but others might not. Truthfully, I was less bothered by the repost itself than I was by the namecalling one of the responders did. Being respectful IS one of our rules. The first one, in fact.

ExU: other projects or its own post?

Seeing as ExU is I think the most extensive in-charcter thing they'll be doing to date, are you planning on making a new post for these "beautiful fools" or should we just post under "other projects"?
Probably hard to decide since I can imagine them doing several of these mini-campains under the ExU umbrella (possibly during breaks in the main-show) if this goes well, but we don't know that for sure yet.

When The Legend of Vox Machina comes out, how should prompts specifically related to it (since it's possible there will be some changes to the Briarwood arc, and the Kickstarter says episodes 1 and 2 will be a brand new story) be handled? Should they go under Campaign 1, go under Other Projects, or will a section be created for it specifically? Or is this not going to be the place for TLoVM-related prompts?
