Welcome to the kink meme for Critical Role!
This community is open to all fans of Critical Role no matter what your preference for pairing may be. You do not have to join the community: you can either watch it or just track the post. Anon commenting will always be on, and IP tracking will be off. So feel free to stay anon if it makes you more comfortable.
What is a Kink Meme?
It's pretty simple. You post a prompt and your fellow fans get inspired and write fic based on that prompt. As it is a "kink" meme, a great deal of fic will be of the smutty variety, so if you aren't into that or not of a porn-reading age, this place won't be for you. Not all fic has to be smutty, but it does have to be kinky.
Clarification: This is a kink meme, therefore prompts must be kink-based. It is not a general prompting/headcanons meme. There have been a couple of people confused by that, so we're just making it extra clear.
Please only post one prompt per comment so to avoid any confusion.
How do I prompt?
Post each prompt as a new comment to the main post. Include pairing (or threesome or more if that's your thing) and anything else you want to add. You should put, at the very least, the pairing in the subject line along with a specific kink if it applies. You can put the whole prompt in the subject if it will fit, but if it doesn't, use the comments. For example:
Subject line: Char1/Char2, flogging
Body of comment: Char1 has a thing for Char2's strong hands. Having seen them wield a weapon, they're wondering how well Char2 can swing their favorite bedroom toy.
I see a prompt I want to write! What now?
Go for it! You don't have to claim it, and fills can be written by more than one person. Once you've finished you must post it as a response to the original comment. Laudna feels most comfortable in the dark. Imogen has learned this about her, figured it out years ago, and she understands it. She understands the silence and the solitude, the sense of belonging that settles with shadow and sunset. Imogen knows that Laudna hides in it, relishes it, the way that the stares stop, and the double takes fade to a simple blink or two. Laudna feels comfortable in the dark because she’s harder to see, her striking features, elongated limbs, the unnatural pallor of her skin fades away and she becomes indistinguishable from any other person passing by on the street.
Laudna feels most comfortable in the dark, but Imogen thinks she looks most beautiful like this, sprawled out over a feather mattress and soft white linens, every inch of her laid bare as she soaks in the first flaxen rays of morning light through half drawn curtains. Her face is soft, relaxed, near-translucent lids still closed but just the slightest pull at the corner of her mouth. Laudna feels like she has to hide, and Imogen understands why, but she also knows that she’s blessed that these moments are hers alone. She is the only one who gets to see the way tension melts from Laudna’s shoulders the moment they close the door behind them; she’s the only one who gets to watch the layers shed, the attempts to pass, to please, to fit, the mellowed, hollowed version of Laudna falling away, only truth remaining.
“You’re staring.”
Imogen sucks in a soft breath. She hadn’t realized, but it's not the first time, won’t be the last. She foregoes a response. The things she wants to say, the things she wants Laudna to know, they won’t find purchase on her tongue, not in the right way at least, not in the right order. She knows because she’s tried to explain over the years, tried to verbalize the way her stomach tightens and turns in the most wonderful way when sunlight hits Laudna’s ashen skin, reveals the creeping spiderweb of blue veins just beneath the surface. The words always catch in her throat.
Instead, she crosses the room, settles a knee into the mattress and hooks a single finger under the sheet just barely resting over Laudna’s hip, tugging it just enough that it falls away, revealing taught skin over sharp edges, a sallow sort of sunken dip of Laudna’s pelvis that Imogen can’t help but trail her nails over.
Deep set, dark eyes open slowly, and Laudna looks up at her with parted lips. “Would you like me to get breakfast started?” She asks softly. Imogen shakes her head, hovering for just a moment before she leans in to place a soft kiss to Laudna’s lips, a small shiver down her spine at the sensation, the slightly cool press of skin to hers. It’s been years but the thrill never seems to fade.
Imogen doesn’t stay there though, leaves a searing hot trail across the sharp angles of Laudna’s jaw, down the distended column of her jugular, to the hollow where her chest and collar meet.
Scary. It had been her first thought, and that hadn’t faded, had never seemed to wane, but then neither had that exhilarating thrum in her chest, the racing of her heart against her ribcage. Imogen knows what other people see when they look at Laudna, she knows because she sees it too, but instead of the urge to run, or hide, she can’t look away, utterly transfixed by the terror and beauty before her.
Laudna sighs softly, lets her eyes fall closed again as her slender, taloned hand reaches up to settle on the back of Imogen’s neck, not a heavy weight, but still an anchor, grounding.
Imogen continues on her path, relishing in the steady thrum of Laudna’s heartbeat - something that had surprised her the first time they’d gotten this close. Her fingertips trail the honed angle of Laudna’s side, to the jutting angle of her hip. Thin skin gives too easily, and Imogen can see the raking pink trails she’s left across blanched canvas, even with the gentlest pressure, but Laudna’s still relaxed underneath her.
She wants to commit this to memory, has tried time and time again to map each crooked cliff and valley of Laudna’s body, each of the scars that pieced her back together, but when Imogen closes her eyes, when she’s away, the dark just creeps back in, and this portrait wanes to black.
Imogen nips lightly at Laudna’s hip before sitting back on her heels, a hand thrown behind her carelessly as the half-drawn curtains pull open with intensity and a flourish that feels like a dramatic escalation, the blaze of sun almost burning as it reaches the stale corners of the bedroom.
Laudna looks up, tangles of long black hair framed around her face like a shadow, “what is it?” She asks softly, hesitantly, and Imogen hates what she hears in that voice, the doubt, the concern, like Laudna’s just waiting for the day, the time, the moment when Imogen changes her mind.
“You’re beautiful like this,” Imogen replies firmly, though she knows the words won’t be enough.
The sallow sunken planes of Laudna’s cheeks can’t quite summon enough blood for a blush, but Imogen can still see the shy, uncertain look in dark eyes.
“You said scary just yesterday, darling,” the words are out so quickly, Imogen’s certain it was already on Laudna’s mind, hanging there, haunting.
“Yes, I did.” She nods and settles both hands on Laudna’s hips this time, and she swears she can feel it, the way Laudna’s flesh seems to draw the warmth from hers, craving any semblance of heat. Sometimes she’s not sure if what Laudna is really counts as being alive, but it's so abundantly clear that it's trying to be, that every inch of skin and blood and bone is struggling, valiantly to live. Laudna’s skin saps the warmth from her because it's missing it.
Imogen hopes that love works that way too; that the love and affection radiating out of her like heat can find its way to Laudna, that one day she’ll have enough to love herself the way that Imogen loves her.
She doesn’t know what else to say, doesn’t know how to explain to Laudna that these two truths coexist for her, that Laudna is somehow the most terrifying and awe inspiring thing she’s ever experienced, that she’s never wanted to run, never wanted to look away. She doesn’t know how to explain that falling also feels like flying and the white hot sting of a stove spreads a chill through her skin and pain is sometimes indistinguishable from pleasure. Instead, she presses the length of herself to Laudna, soft warm curves against bone and sinew, takes her into her arms and holds her there.
Laudna feels most comfortable in the dark, but Imogen feels most comfortable here, chest to chest, skin to skin, entwined.

At some point during the >20 years between Search for Bob and C3, Liev’tel finds out Bertrand has been behaving recklessly, or has been making deals with tweet dangerous people — or, perhaps, she finds out he’s having some health problems he’s been ignoring. She’s determined to convince him to be less reckless, for the sake of living a long, long life for a human.
Bertrand may be a stubborn old man, but Liev’tel can be very persuasive, and she knows exactly which tactics work best on him. Like getting him naked, restraining him, and edging him until he cries.
tl;dr: Liev’tel gently dommes Bell into agreeing to take better care of himself.
