Welcome to the kink meme for Critical Role!
This community is open to all fans of Critical Role no matter what your preference for pairing may be. You do not have to join the community: you can either watch it or just track the post. Anon commenting will always be on, and IP tracking will be off. So feel free to stay anon if it makes you more comfortable.
What is a Kink Meme?
It's pretty simple. You post a prompt and your fellow fans get inspired and write fic based on that prompt. As it is a "kink" meme, a great deal of fic will be of the smutty variety, so if you aren't into that or not of a porn-reading age, this place won't be for you. Not all fic has to be smutty, but it does have to be kinky.
Clarification: This is a kink meme, therefore prompts must be kink-based. It is not a general prompting/headcanons meme. There have been a couple of people confused by that, so we're just making it extra clear.
Please only post one prompt per comment so to avoid any confusion.
How do I prompt?
Post each prompt as a new comment to the main post. Include pairing (or threesome or more if that's your thing) and anything else you want to add. You should put, at the very least, the pairing in the subject line along with a specific kink if it applies. You can put the whole prompt in the subject if it will fit, but if it doesn't, use the comments. For example:
Subject line: Pike/Sarenrae, holy visitation
Body of comment: Pike gets a different kind of spiritual visitation one night.
I see a prompt I want to write! What now?
Go for it! You don't have to claim it, and fills can be written by more than one person. Once you've finished you must post it as a response to the original comment. Responses should use a subject line that includes the pairing, rating & any necessary warnings (i.e. incest, non-con, etc.). If you have titled your fic you can also include that. Also, as LJ limits the size of comments, if your fic goes into multiple comments, please note that your comment is part 1/5, part 2/5 and so on. Using the prompt above, the subject line could read:
"Holy Smitten, Pike/Sarenrae, NC-17, 1/5"
And now some rules...

- Since we're all supposed to be adults here, let's act like it. Be respectful to your fellow posters.
- Your kink is not someone else's and their kink may not be yours. If you don't like it, don't read it. It's really that simple.
- Please no bashing of other pairings. Just like with kinks, everyone has their own flavors, and this is neither the time nor place for ship wars. This meme is meant to include the entire fandom.
- No existing-partner-bashing. Omit them if you like, or play along with the general vague CR-RPF fandom consensus that hall passes exist, just don't be a dick.
- Crossover prompts are allowed, but they must include a Critical Role cast or crew member as a main part of the prompt.

Family is All You Need; Matt+Everyone; PG

It was everything a battle ought to be for both the players and DM alike: tense, terrifying, and very awe-inspiring. Thankfully, all of Vox Machina survived, but there were some VERY close calls with a few. And surprisingly, only one resurrection ritual needed to be performed; which it also worked to the delight of the players and Critters. To celebrate, the entire cast was over Matt and Marisha's house partaking in that dragon vodka that a critter gave them.
After a little while of drinking and rehashing the battle, the group settled down to watch a movie. Matt ended up on the floor somehow on his back with his head propped up on pillows with Marisha up pillowed into the right side of his chest, with her knees up. As he wrapped his arm around her, she leaned up and gave him a kiss before saying softly, “You know, you could have killed us all tonight. So as punishment….” She got a wicked gleam in her eye before exclaiming “Cuddle Pile on Matt!!!”
Matt had enough time to give her a look of surprise before Taliesin collapsed on his other shoulder, giggling softly. Out of habit, Matt wrapped his arm around him as he nuzzles his face into his pectoral muscle. Deep laughter combined with soft, musical undertones were heard as two heads, one large and muscular and the other lighter and more feminine landed on a strategically placed pillow that was somehow dropped on his left hip without him noticing. Laura, since she was closer to him, lifted Taliesin’s feet to drape over her hip as she laid on her side, her head shifting on Travis’ chest as he reclined on his back, nearer to Matt’s knee.
As Matt watched them get situated, laughter from his right drew his attention. As he turned, he saw Liam gently push Sam down on another pillow placed on the opposite side yet same location as Laura and Travis’. Sam landed with a small “oof” that shook Matt and therefore the rest of the cuddle pile. Everyone started to snigger, which became full blown laughter when Liam then deliberately became his little spoon, dragging Sam’s arm over his hip with a smile. Sam shook his head exasperatingly, a smile playing at his lips before shifting into a more comfortable position that allowed him to both keep his arm around Liam and see the TV. Liam for his part snuggled into Sam and Matt simultaneously, the shit-eating grin still on his face. Matt sighed at the group before looking for the last two members who still needed to pick their spots.
Liam raised the arm that wasn’t pinned under him and called, “There is room over here if you want to join us, Ashley!”, his eyes shining with mirth. At his voice, Laura raises her head off Travis, saying with a sickly-sweet smile, “I think, brother, she would rather join us over here,” giving Ashley a wink that was eerily like one that was given in game a few hours earlier. Ashley, for her part, was sitting at Matt’s feet, chuckling softly with a mixture of drunkenness and giddiness. She then gave a sly smile of her own, before shifting between Matt’s legs dropping her pillow with a ‘thwomp’ right on his pubic bone. “Thanks guys, but I think I found my spot” she says cheerfully before leaning her neck and upper back across his pubic bone “Everyone can still see, right?”
Murmurs of assent are heard throughout the group and eyes turn expectantly towards their final person. Brian looks at the rest of the group before shrugging and laying his head in Ashley’s lap, his feet going horizontally towards Matt’s left side. Picking up his left leg, Brian slid his body underneath it, letting it fall onto his hips.
Matt, after looking at all of them with looks of fondness mixed with a little bit of an eye roll, asks softly, “Is everyone comfortable?”
Mutters of consent are heard in various tones and volumes, sounding to him like music to his ears. He shakes his head before turning to Marisha again and mutters “I love you for knowing me so well, “kissing her softly, smiles playing at both their lips before saying louder, “Then whomever has the remote, start the movie.”
As the opening credits played, he snuggles down into the pillows behind him, everyone’s body heat providing him with enough of blanket that he doesn’t need one. One by one, he looks at every member of the group and a wide grin splits his face. He feels warm, safe, and surrounded by the love of his chosen family. And tonight, that’s all he needs.

And I really love that you included Brian, and Liam as Sam's little spoon, and everyone just tangling up!!!
I'm totally adopting this as post vodka movie night headcanon for them!!
