Welcome to the kink meme for Critical Role!
This community is open to all fans of Critical Role no matter what your preference for pairing may be. You do not have to join the community: you can either watch it or just track the post. Anon commenting will always be on, and IP tracking will be off. So feel free to stay anon if it makes you more comfortable.
What is a Kink Meme?
It's pretty simple. You post a prompt and your fellow fans get inspired and write fic based on that prompt. As it is a "kink" meme, a great deal of fic will be of the smutty variety, so if you aren't into that or not of a porn-reading age, this place won't be for you. Not all fic has to be smutty, but it does have to be kinky.
Clarification: This is a kink meme, therefore prompts must be kink-based. It is not a general prompting/headcanons meme. There have been a couple of people confused by that, so we're just making it extra clear.
Please only post one prompt per comment so to avoid any confusion.
How do I prompt?
Post each prompt as a new comment to the main post. Include pairing (or threesome or more if that's your thing) and anything else you want to add. You should put, at the very least, the pairing in the subject line along with a specific kink if it applies. You can put the whole prompt in the subject if it will fit, but if it doesn't, use the comments. For example:
Subject line: Pike/Sarenrae, holy visitation
Body of comment: Pike gets a different kind of spiritual visitation one night.
I see a prompt I want to write! What now?
Go for it! You don't have to claim it, and fills can be written by more than one person. Once you've finished you must post it as a response to the original comment. Responses should use a subject line that includes the pairing, rating & any necessary warnings (i.e. incest, non-con, etc.). If you have titled your fic you can also include that. Also, as LJ limits the size of comments, if your fic goes into multiple comments, please note that your comment is part 1/5, part 2/5 and so on. Using the prompt above, the subject line could read:
"Holy Smitten, Pike/Sarenrae, NC-17, 1/5"
And now some rules...
While we want this to be a relaxed and cool place, we also don't want people to feel uncomfortable being here. If you have suggestions or comments on how this community can improve please address to them tocriticalkink in a PM or drop a comment on this post.

- Since we're all supposed to be adults here, let's act like it. Be respectful to your fellow posters.
- Your kink is not someone else's and their kink may not be yours. If you don't like it, don't read it. It's really that simple.
- Please no bashing of other pairings. Just like with kinks, everyone has their own flavors, and this is neither the time nor place for ship wars. This meme is meant to include the entire fandom.
- No existing-partner-bashing. Omit them if you like, or play along with the general vague CR-RPF fandom consensus that hall passes exist, just don't be a dick.
- Crossover prompts are allowed, but they must include a Critical Role cast or crew member as a main part of the prompt.
- Het, slash, femmeslash? You're all welcome here. The more the merrier!
- It's not a requirement by any means, but writers love feedback, so if you read something you enjoy, take a second to tell the writer. Whether it's a one word response or something longer, it's always appreciated.
- Please follow basic kink meme etiquette by not linking the cast or crew to this meme.

Date: 2017-02-07 01:04 am (UTC)Taliesin groans for a moment, rubbing his face against the bed sheets. He slowly lifts his head up, blinking blearily as he peers around then looks up at Matt. "Sleepy.”
It’s still pretty dark in the room, only small amounts of light are able to push past the drawn curtains. Matt reaches down then, rubbing the boy’s cheek a moment, rousing him further. When Tal sits up some, Matt goes across the room and opens up some curtains, letting in midafternoon sun. Back at the bed, Taliesin groans and presses his face back into the mattress.
“Ahahah,” Matt shakes his head, going back. “Nap time is over Tally. Up.” He pats the boy’s bottom through the quilt then starts to pull it off. “Mama is gonna be home soon. Few hours. You want to help me make dinner or do you wanna play in the living room?”
Taliesin rubs his face for a moment before sitting up on his knees. “What’s dinner?”
“Do tacos sound good”?“ Matt spends a moment fussing with Tal’s hair. The boy changes it so much that Matt really didn’t know what to do with it week to week. This week, Taliesin had shown up to play with a fancy color saving conditioner and a request his hair not be washed at all if it could be done.
"Tacos,” Taliesin nods as he scoots to the edge of the bed to get to his feet.
“Ah. Stay. You need to get dressed.” Matt motion’s the little to keep put, then snags the play clothes that had been left by the bed at the beginning of nap time. Taliesin flops onto his back to be dressed, as he is only in his tshirt and briefs. So Matt helps him into his shorts and one purple stripped sock while Taliesin did the other foot. “There we go, good boy.” Matt rub’s the boy’s belly for a moment before helping him to his feet.
“Color.”
“What’s that buddy?” Matt fusses with the freshly died hair once more, trying to get it out of his boy’s eyes.
“Color.”
“Yes, your hair is colored very nicely.” Matt nods. He glances at his fingers scowling when he sees that they are being stained pink and purple.
“No!” Taliesin huffs, “Wanna color.”
“Oh oh oh, okay buddy. No huffing and puffing.” Matt gives up on the hair, and grabs the boy’s black cat ear hat and pulls that onto his head. “Sure, you can color.”
“With you?” Taliesin looks up at Matt, standing still as the man tries to get him dressed.
“Buddy, I just said I had to make supper.” Matt gives him a small smile.
“In the kitchen?” Tal rocks on his toes bracing his hands on Matt’s chest.
Matt takes ahold of the boy’s arms, letting him rock and bounce around as he is finally getting awake. “You can color in the kitchen. Can you go get your things so daddy can go start?”
“Yeah.” Taliesin grins. “Yup!”
“Only your coloring box, Taliesin, we aren’t doing crafts. Nothing sticky or sparkly.” Matt clarifies.
Tal gives a small pout but nods. “Okkaaay.”
Matt kisses his forehead. “Go. Go on.” He swats the boy out of the room, following him as they both head out the door frame to the hall.
