This community is open to all fans of Critical Role no matter what your preference for pairing may be. You do not have to join the community: you can either watch it or just track the post. Anon commenting will always be on, and IP tracking will be off. So feel free to stay anon if it makes you more comfortable.

What is a Kink Meme?
It's pretty simple. You post a prompt and your fellow fans get inspired and write fic based on that prompt. As it is a "kink" meme, a great deal of fic will be of the smutty variety, so if you aren't into that or not of a porn-reading age, this place won't be for you. Not all fic has to be smutty, but it does have to be kinky.

Clarification: This is a kink meme, therefore prompts must be kink-based. It is not a general prompting/headcanons meme. There have been a couple of people confused by that, so we're just making it extra clear.

Please only post one prompt per comment so to avoid any confusion.

How do I prompt?
Post each prompt as a new comment to the main post. Include pairing (or threesome or more if that's your thing) and anything else you want to add. You should put, at the very least, the pairing in the subject line along with a specific kink if it applies. You can put the whole prompt in the subject if it will fit, but if it doesn't, use the comments. For example:

Subject line: Beauregard/Jester, friends to lovers

Body of comment: Jester's been letting Beau use her for sparring practice. That kind of proximity does things to a tiefling.

I see a prompt I want to write! What now?
Go for it! You don't have to claim it, and fills can be written by more than one person. Once you've finished you must post it as a response to the original comment. Responses should use a subject line that includes the pairing, rating & any necessary warnings (i.e. incest, non-con, etc.). If you have titled your fic you can also include that. Also, as LJ limits the size of comments, if your fic goes into multiple comments, please note that your comment is part 1/5, part 2/5 and so on. Using the prompt above, the subject line could read:

I have...a huge kink for the fallout of sensory deprivation. In this case whether it's caused by torture/punishment/a spell gone awry/getting trapped in a cave-in/etc, I just want one of the Nein to get rescued by the others after being trapped, alone, for 48+ hours of being completely isolated and not seeing/hearing ANYTHING.

And I just want the fallout of that, and how the rest of the Nein get through to that person, with ideally some reassuring skin-on-skin contact and EXTRA ideally lots of not wanting to be alone/not letting them be alone.

Any ships, all the ships, I'm easy!

Also all my love for romantic and/or platonic cheek and forehead kisses, my other bulletproof kryptonite.

They'd talked about this, a casual hypothetical to fill the air while they traveled. It was important, Beau figured, to acquaint oneself with the abilities of those nearby. Or at least that's how she'd pitch it, if interrogated about why she was leaking the guarded secrets of the cobalt soul over a plate of salted bacon. But really 'if an enemy was mid thunder-step but you reacted with sentinel would they stop or would you go with them' is cool fucking conversation fodder that doesn't need rationalizing.

They'd just figured the semantics of giving a spiritual weapon flavor when Caleb, having fun in his own calculated way, quite seriously poses:
'You're are surrounded by enemies much slower than you, but you are still surrounded. If I could cast a spell in the area, that you could likely avoid, would you want me to?"

"Caleb," Beau calls, after an exasperated beat. She extracts the calm from the lingering chamomile sent of Caduceus' lukewarm tea and puts it into her words. "Could you maybe not phrase these like you're planning something."
"They're not plans, they're precautions," he reacts, defensive and confused, head dipping at the accusation. "This one in particular I've discussed with Nott, as she is also very fast."
"I said yes," Nott offers, watching Beau smugly out of the corner of her eye, somehow still tracking the conversation despite collaborating with Jester on an ever-growing list of Lolipop designs. Beau wished they were still talking about that.

"You know what, yeah. Bring it on me," Beau trails, letting herself get comfortable in the grass, hip to hip with a reclined Jester, elbow playfully knocking Caleb in he foot. She feels safe enough to pit these gambles when surrounded by companions. "Bring the whole house down."

Its the conversation Beau recalls as a bandit's hammer hits her in the chin hard enough to dizzy her away from the present - a present in which she is both surrounded and separated from her group. The blows slow as their enemies realize they'd gained the upper hand on the monk - no rush in the face of victory. It lessens the need for focus just enough that Beau manages to spot Caleb in the dark of the crowded tunnel.

He spots her back, surveying the situation and Beau can almost hear the click in his memory as he hastily shakes his head. Beau nods, and does as much with her face as she can to express she cant take enough hits to wait for Caleb to explain why it isn't a good idea from 50 feet away through body language alone.

Another weapon swings by and Beau dodges, managing a punch to the ribs as payback. Its as much as she has time to move before the whistle of heat rushing through air catches her ear. In an instant she's using her Bo to vault, but its not fast enough to miss the lick of flames boiling the sweat on her back.
Beau slams a cavern wall in her effort to avoid the spell, hugging it tight. As the screams of pain evaporate into nothing behind her she can't help but consider how cool that shit was. She is, however, humbled by several quick sensations:

The sight of Caleb, at a distance and still in danger, collapsing under the weight of his trauma.
The sound Jester screaming a warning, that Beau can just barely tell is meant for her over the ringing in her ears.
The smell from The Balleater. Dangerous and gunpowdery, like Nott after a long days work, or a misfired pistol.
The taste of too much blood in her mouth because she had bitten her tongue god damn it.

Lastly, the unwelcome rumble of the cave wall next to her body. Because of course, cave-diving bandits would have dynamite. And of course, it would miss Beau in the first explosion just so she could experience the horror that came when a whole mountain fell on your head.
Rocks fall down - It's hit after hit and she's just cant move fast enough. The path to her group was a wall of falling stone. It's with bitter desparation that Beau makes for a lip off the Cavern wall and covers as much of her body as she can. Reverberation from the cave in almost shakes the teeth out of her mouth. She fights with the deafening sound of stone on stone to form a cohesive thought -
- but cant manage anything but panic and the cycling hope to any god that she wouldn't die like this.

GOOD GOD I am so excited for this. Excellent so far, when I saw this prompt I IMMEDIATELY thought of Beau, thank you so much and I can't wait for what comes next!

Oh GOSH prompt OP here and *_* I AM SO EXCITED!!! Beau is SUCH a good person to choose for this, and this is such a good beginning! As soon as I got to "Bring the whole house down." I was like oh, man, this is going to be GOOD, and I was riiiiight it's so good!
