Welcome to the kink meme for Critical Role!

This community is open to all fans of Critical Role no matter what your preference for pairing may be. You do not have to join the community: you can either watch it or just track the post. Anon commenting will always be on, and IP tracking will be off. So feel free to stay anon if it makes you more comfortable.

What is a Kink Meme?
It's pretty simple. You post a prompt and your fellow fans get inspired and write fic based on that prompt. As it is a "kink" meme, a great deal of fic will be of the smutty variety, so if you aren't into that or not of a porn-reading age, this place won't be for you. Not all fic has to be smutty, but it does have to be kinky.

Clarification: This is a kink meme, therefore prompts must be kink-based. It is not a general prompting/headcanons meme. There have been a couple of people confused by that, so we're just making it extra clear.

Please only post one prompt per comment so to avoid any confusion.

How do I prompt?
Post each prompt as a new comment to the main post. Include pairing (or threesome or more if that's your thing) and anything else you want to add. You should put, at the very least, the pairing in the subject line along with a specific kink if it applies. You can put the whole prompt in the subject if it will fit, but if it doesn't, use the comments. For example:

Subject line: Beauregard/Jester, friends to lovers

Body of comment: Jester's been letting Beau use her for sparring practice. That kind of proximity does things to a tiefling.

I see a prompt I want to write! What now?
Go for it! You don't have to claim it, and fills can be written by more than one person. Once you've finished you must post it as a response to the original comment. Responses should use a subject line that includes the pairing, rating & any necessary warnings (i.e. incest, non-con, etc.). If you have titled your fic you can also include that. Also, as LJ limits the size of comments, if your fic goes into multiple comments, please note that your comment is part 1/5, part 2/5 and so on. Using the prompt above, the subject line could read:

(a/n don't know how/when i'm gonna continue this, but, wrote you something!)

Jester peeked her head into the lab-rary with a far too nervous expression on her face. "Nott," she said, doing her best to keep her voice even, "can you come help me with something?"

"I can clean this up by myself," Yeza says, patting her shoulder, and that's all she needs. Whatever has Jester worried must be serious, because she doesn't even say what it is, she just grips Nott's arm tightly and dragged her upstairs as fast as she could, all the way up to the room she and Beau shared.

"I don't know what's wrong," Jester explains, frantic. "I tried doing a lesser restoration, and that didn't do anything, and neither did a cure wounds, and I wanted to get Caduceus but Beau said no, and-"

"And you grabbed me?" Nott asks, dubious.

"Yeah! Because you're a detective and you're good with like chemicals and stuff and I don't know but there's something really wrong with Beau and I'm worried."

She opens the door, and as soon as Nott walks in to the room - even before that, just as she smells the air, she knows exactly what's wrong with Beau.

Beau's in heat.

Fuck.

The scent is weird. That's probably because she's still not used to smelling it as a goblin, because goblins don't have heats, it's really just a human-halfling thing, and it doesn't hit her the way she kind of knows it should.

"Close the door," she hisses out. And Jester does, immediately, still looking worried. Nott looks around, and finds Beau lying curled up on the bed, shuddering through the first legs of her heat. "Are you a fucking idiot?" she asks.

"Heyyy," Beau manages, pulling herself into sitting up. "You wouldn't happen to - aaa - know how to brew suppressent potions, would you?"

"You should have asked me that a week ago," Nott says. "They don't work when you've actually started your heat. Do you not-"

"I don't need you to fucking lecture me," Beau growls. "They're really fucking irregular, keeping track of them doesn't work." She kicks the blankets even further away, curling up, her knees pressed up in to her chest. "If you can't help me then just get out."

"Beau, we aren't going to leave you," Jester says, stepping forward. "Nott, you know what's wrong, is there any way to-"

Nott takes one look at Beau, curling in tighter on herself and leaving deep finger marks on her legs, and Jester's worried expression, and a part of her that hasn't been hers since she died starts to well up. "Jester," she says, calmly, or, trying to stay calm, "can you go and find Yasha?"

"No!" Beau almost shouts, and Jester looks between the two of them, frantic, before taking Nott's suggestion and leaving in search of the Barbarian. Beau turns to Nott, a desperate look across her face. "You can't bring her in to this," Beau says. "She doesn't - she -"

"Nope," Nott says, climbing up in to the bed to sit next to her. "You can't get rid of us. We're going to help you through this."

"I can't ask you to do that," Beau says. "You - I know you don't - Jester's in love with Fjord, and you're fucking married, and Yasha - I know -" She shudders again, collapsing back down on to the mattress, and Nott presses a hand down on her shoulder.

"If you don't take suppressants," she says, "how do you normally make it through heats?"

"Find someone willing to fuck me," Beau says. "I can work it out on my own. I won't make you-"

Nott frowns. "Look," she says, "the only reason I'm not - is because I'm like this." She gestures to the sharp, jagged teeth and to her claws. "I can't even kiss, much less - or I would be helping you get through this, okay?"

"You can't say shit like that," Beau groans, closing her eyes and pressing her head back in to the bed.

"Why not? You're my friend and I'm going to fucking take care of you," Nott tells her. "But since I can't help you like that, instead-"

"No, it's-" the words stumble out of Beau's mouth, and she pulls herself back upright. "I'm really not in the headspace - I don't care about the claws, or -" she leans in, pressing a kiss to Nott's neck sloppily.

"Yeah, but I do," Nott says, pulling Beau off of her but not fully away. "But, there are other ways to work through heats that aren't just fucking. Even being near people makes them easier so-"

That's when Jester and Yasha practically burst their way in, a loud slam of the door opening and then being shut just as quickly.

"Are you saying you want to cuddle me through my heat?" Beau asks.

"That is exactly what I'm saying," Nott says. "Well. Yasha and Jester are going to cuddle you, and I'm going to mix up the best suppressant I can to hopefully cut it down a little bit and then I'm going to cuddle you too."

"And that will fix Beau?" Jester asks, eyes wide.

"It'll help," Nott explains, standing up. When she moves away Beau almost grabs at her, trying to pull her back in, clearly desperate for some sort of contact even if she can't get exactly what she needs to break through the heat, but Nott is quickly replaced by Yasha, who settles down in the bed, arm around her shoulders. Jester takes a look before starting to scoot her bed over, combining the two in order to give them a bit more room.

Nott hovers by the door. Beau lies, now, pressed between Jester and Yasha, eyes clenched shut in focus. This was going to work out, and it would all be fine.

She hurried downstairs to get started on some sort of suppressant.

OP here- AAAAAAH I already love this so much! The Nott/Beau is so so surprisingly sweet and aww Beau being so v adamant on not troubling the others & handling this alone is SO her. Also Beau is trying so hard to keep a lid on it but she's so desperate and needy and that is pretty hot, thank u for that neck kiss
