This community is open to all fans of Critical Role no matter what your preference for pairing may be. You do not have to join the community: you can either watch it or just track the post. Anon commenting will always be on, and IP tracking will be off. So feel free to stay anon if it makes you more comfortable.

What is a Kink Meme?
It's pretty simple. You post a prompt and your fellow fans get inspired and write fic based on that prompt. As it is a "kink" meme, a great deal of fic will be of the smutty variety, so if you aren't into that or not of a porn-reading age, this place won't be for you. Not all fic has to be smutty, but it does have to be kinky.

Clarification: This is a kink meme, therefore prompts must be kink-based. It is not a general prompting/headcanons meme. There have been a couple of people confused by that, so we're just making it extra clear.

Please only post one prompt per comment so to avoid any confusion.

How do I prompt?
Post each prompt as a new comment to the main post. Include pairing (or threesome or more if that's your thing) and anything else you want to add. You should put, at the very least, the pairing in the subject line along with a specific kink if it applies. You can put the whole prompt in the subject if it will fit, but if it doesn't, use the comments. For example:

So...I always imagined people see Essek as being lesser because he's on his first life. Well...he catches the eye of someone who's very...experienced. Lots of lives, lots of prestige, lots of power.

He asks his den's Umavi to give him Essek as his...I dunno. Bride? Consort? Either way it's clear what he wants him for. She agrees in spite of, y'know, being Essek's mother. She knows it will bring great esteem and power to their den. Essek would normally be agreeable but lately he's been so 'bratty' and 'selfish' and he does NOT want this. He resents his mother pressuring him and clearly using him and the guy is for sure skeevy and way too handsy. He makes it excruciatingly clear what he plans to do with Essek, grabbing his wrist and whispering into his ear at a party to remind him who he'll belong to...maybe even takes 'trial runs'?

Anyway the Nein immediately notice Essek hasn't been around...and if they DO get to see him it's very little and he's acting strange. Maybe one day Jester messages him and gets a weird response...so they go to investigate and end up crashing a wedding. It's utter chaos.

Bonus: Secret Shadowgast relationship...a very gentle, loving, sugary sweet sort of relationship. Lots of hand holding and forehead touches and nuzzles and such.
Bonus Bonus: They get married right after the rescue, while Essek's still in his wedding finery...which is probably much worse for wear now but he still looks good.
Bonus Bonus Bonus: They use the original wedding venue, possibly doing it while they're still fighting the dick fiance actually.

I headcanon Essek as having chronic pain but that and most other details don't necessarily have to be included. I'm mostly just setting a scene. Like I've had this idea for a while but couldn't think of how to explain it...so it still came out really rambly but oh well.

For whatever reason, one or more of the M9 gets figged with a large butt (or vagina, but not urethra please!) plug made from potent, pealed ginger and feels the burn.
Can be as a punishment or something they requested specifically.
Could be administered by another M9 member, an NPC, whoever. Can be stand alone or with other corporal punishment and/or other chemical irritant play.

Essek is someone who really prides himself on his mind. I want him to get feebleminded during some kind of attack. Maybe during an official something with his Den? And the Nein were brought in cuz they're technically wards of the Den or something? (they do live in one of their houses, if I remember correctly)

+This includes Beau and Veth, which surprises them given how they were questioning his loyalty so much
+He avoids his family actively, especially his mother, not recognizing them as safe to be around while he's feebleminded.

+Essek is healed in the end, but everyone does end up knowing where his loyalties truly lie

If one wants to go a bit angsty I could see his Umavi disowning him for choosing this mishmash of outsider mutts over his own den, but it's just one possibility. I can see this going a lot of different ways.

Beau is an alpha but hides it, because it makes her feel dysphoric.
She manages to keep the M9 in the dark, sleeping around with people who won’t comment or are paid not to, and although by now she’d be fully comfortable with telling them, the fact that she hasn’t already makes it awkward, and so she still hasn’t.
Which is unfortunate, because she’s now locked in a boat with them and something sets her off, leaving her rock hard and barely able to function.
Unaware of the depth of Beau’s feelings, Jester offers her a hand, eager to be able to say she’s done it and possibly to relieve her own situation if she has one.

Jester can be a beta or omega - her heat could trigger Beau, possibly her first heat. Beau’s precise biology is up to you, as is Jester’s.

Pretty much what it says on the tin...I like the idea of Essek attempting to seduce someone as a distraction for the Nein...and being terrible at it. He was good at it once, but now, with them...he just can't manage it. I like to think it's because he has a crush on a certain ginger wizard.

Saw some art today and had a need. Clay is captured by slavers and sold off to someone who uses him for sex. If he’s just for them personally or they rent him out as a whore or whatever, anything is fine. however it goes, lots of suffering before the M9 show up and save him and take care of him.

Caleb gets whammied with some sort of fuck-or-die curse, and everyone is VERY worried, because on top of the already badness this is CALEB!!! How are they gonna convince Mr. Guilty that he needs to have sex with one of them! They don't want him to die!!

And then it turns out he's already dating someone (Jester or Fjord), and they've been secretly sneaking around for MONTHS now, and it is...not a big deal to them. They'll go take care of this right now. All good.

Caleb, of course, is bright red.

Essek remembers one time when he was visiting one of the Assembly members (Ludinus or Trent, either is fine) in the Empire, they brought over a blindfolded human of roughly Essek's maturity level and invited/instructed Essek to use his mouth while they talked.
Caleb has vague, mostly repressed memories from his time in the asylum, of a day that didn't hurt the same way as most of the others, of strain in his jaw and a scent or feeling to humanoid skin slightly new to him.
More than a decade later, Caleb has Essek in his mouth under enthusiastic consent in the research chamber, a poorly timed hair pull causes Caleb to choke, and the recognition comes rushing in.

I've seen lots of fics that touch on de-aging the characters but never one involving our resident Hot Boi...I'd like to see him ending up as a little kid amongst the Nein, a cute and tiny little thing with a somewhat odd personality. I could also see him as a teenager, like right after anamnesis was supposed to have happened.

I wanna see him cute bonding with the Nein...but I'm also...like...I am of the headcanon that his mother was/is terrible. Neglectful and distant at best, full on emotionally abusive at worst, or the kind of person who would slap her child for acting out AS a child (like if he was crying at a party because he was tired and just wanted to go home).

So him being with the Nein...he clings to it. I think if he's a kid then he just eats it up right away, maybe acting out some to test the waters then just kind of constantly clinging to anyone and everyone. If he's older I imagine him being ice cold and distrustful of them, but slowly, oh SO slowly, warming up to them and feeling guilty and ashamed of how much he wants their affection and to just stay with them forever.

+Veth becoming particularly protective and motherly of him, in spite of herself. Her mom instincts just kick into high gear when she sees this kid who is so in need of love.
++Beau finding herself relating to him uncomfortably well and teaching him that it's okay to resent your parents if they hurt you, you don't have to respect someone just because they're older and more experienced, your feelings do matter.

If you want background pairings I like Fjord x Caduceus, Beau x Jester or Beau x Yasha (or Beau x Jester x Yasha)...I also LOVE Caleb x Essek, though obviously they ain't gonna be getting the romance on...I do like the idea of Caleb telling him that he is worthy of love though, as himself...that there is someone who is going to love him for all he is and who doesn't think he's less because of being a new soul 'You are you schatz...and you don't need to worry about being someone other than you because there are people who will love you FOR you and AS you...and those are the ones who matter most'

Caduceus is unable to have kids (maybe he’s intersex? Maybe he had an accident of some kind when he was young?) and since the Wildmother says that sex is for creating new life...he never thought it was something he could or should do.
