I love the idea that Molly's self-assured hiring of those two at the Pillow Trove was an act of sort of... optimistic bravado? And Molly barrelling on with determination despite his insecurity in certain respects is so endearing, even as I know (from the prompt) that it will lead him into some trouble. Very excited to read more of this!
