what i like about this prompt is that calm emotions is a level 2 spell. cure wounds is level 1. imagine it's the end of the day and ya sweet boy duceus has kept a level 1 slot open in case he's gotta heal anyone who takes a lil beating, but he's tapped out on everything else.... hasn't kept a level 2 slot for himself to calm himself down to sleep.
