Maybe they're using him as a hostage, maybe it's a punishment for the Nein...but the fact that they're in the same general vicinity gave me ideas XD
For the first option I imagine he's largely just tied up and kept with them, maybe ends up talking to them but who knows?
If it's the second I could see them hurting him...not sure how but I like the idea of them using the cold against him. Maybe take off his actually warm layers and make it a race against the clock?
Favorite pairing if there is one is Shadowgast but not a requirement!
Only squicks are bathroom stuff...beyond that go wild!
