Lucien vaguely remembers Caleb – remembers that Molly felt something in relation to him. He finds Caleb apart from the rest of the Nein one night and overpowers him. Caleb couldn't fight back, even if he wanted to – but why would he? He loved Molly, even if he'd never said anything while he was alive, and if this is the only way that 'Molly' will have him and his unworthy, broken body, then so be it.

Lucien hates Molly and everything he stood for, but will gladly and viciously take everything that was his.
