Okay, so Ladyhawke is one of my favorite films of all time, and I would seriously love to see it done with Essek and Caleb. I'm thinking goblin Nott would be famous theif "the mouse" and maybe she escapes jail either trying to get back to Yeza and Luc, or maybe they were jailed as well and she's seeking help to break them out.
Caleb would be a man by day, and a cat by night--maybe even a species of big cat since our hero in the film is a dire wolf at night--whereas Essek is an elf by night and a white morph gyrfalcon by day (or some other animal, up to you in the end really; could be a species of bat or something??). As star crossed lovers, a scourager from the Empire and a failed priest initiate of the Luxon, they're destined to only see each other in the fading moments between night and day, and as animal companions they will always be together but forever apart.
It's up to you who the corrupt Bishop that cursed them might be in this situation, and who the monk that helps give them sanctuary is. Just morph this story to your hearts content but give me that good pining angst!!
For addition of kink, I am a-okay if you want to describe the assault scene that prompts the lovers to flee in the first place! Also, reunion sex would be absolutely fantastic at the end. Maybe we have a short bit with Caleb jerking it to a handful of falcon feathers and trying to be discreet about it, Idk.
