So I'm thinkin' Verin and Essek are to be summoned to some event or dinner or whatever with their mom (this bit isn't super important, just gotta be something to get Verin in town for a bit). Well Verin arrives to the city early specifically to go to Essek's and ask to stay at his towers for the duration rather than at their family home.
Well...he doesn't know Essek has a lover. Who's currently staying over as well.
His initial arrival interrupts some hanky panky about to go down...Essek may or may not end up answering the door looking super rumpled (probably not cuz prestidigitation but it's fun to imagine XD). Essek ends up allowing Verin to stay. Not sure if he tells him Caleb is his lover though and not just his ward or student or something.
Anyway, cue Verin being IN THE FUCKING WAY constantly without meaning to when the two are just REALLY wanting some alone time. Verin may even end up walking in on them on accident while his brother's busy riding the ginger wizard into oblivion...or at least during a heavy make out or something if that's squicky for ya. Just awkward revelations abound! (I don't think Verin's used to Essek having any amount of social life so didn't realize Essek's bedroom might be in use for something other than trancing or reading)
I could also see him walking in to find the two the morning after all snuggled up in bed together and clearly naked under the covers, but either way, y'all get the idea XD
