Sam mentioned on Talks that Nott doesn't trust Yasha at all, but gave her control of her flask out of a subconscious desire to form some sort of connection with her and god help me but I think that's a really hot level of absolutely disfunctional. This plus Nott's history of seeking other people to make hard decisions for her and Yasha's recent utter lack of control in her own life feels like a real recipe for something utterly terrible for the both of them, and I'm super into that.
