I have just had this image in my head for ages of a numb Cad knowing he needs to emotionally come to terms with what happened to him, looking into a mirror, having a moment of disassociation only to come back to himself with the mirror smashed and his hand bloody and Cad looking at it all sadly thinking to himself, "Well...that's not good." Really, I am just asking for focus on the nein helping a hurting Cad through the healing process. OP, please veto this if you wish! I do not want to step on toes!
